Hello and Welcome again to Martistic !

​

I thought I would tell you a little bit about myself. My name is Marc Johnson. I was born and raised in the capital city of the smallest state in the Union, Providence, Rhode Island.

​

As a kid I grew up with 2 sisters and 6 brothers, that number grew almost exponentially later. George (the oldest) was a bit of a rebel as a youth, but grew into a man with focus and purpose and has been a positive influence on my life. For that I am forever grateful. Gary (next in age) was my artistic inspiration. I used to emulate his drawing style. Thanx for your role modelship (is that a word?) Sir. Jeffrey (3rd in line), he is the catalyst for this project. Another very talented artist who blossomed into a kind of computer guru (got to hang out with Bill Gates…, cool huh), pushed me to this point. That’s one shove I’ll always appreciate. Brother Mike (a year up on me) he was my tormentor and protector. Mike has a lot to say you just have to listen, thanx for being there. Pam (the oldest girl at the time) was and still is the little mother. Love you Sis. Derek (2nd youngest boy) was ultimately known to me as my "little big brother". He matured into quite the business mind, not to mention a world-class chef, appreciate you Uncle Derek. Kim !!! (youngest girl) introduced me to the graphic side of art. She was a special spirit that epitomized life, I love and miss you so much. Baby Brother Darryl, I hope you find your path, I love you. Mom and Dad, can’t imagine greater parents than you. You held it together and guided us so well. I love and thank you so much.

In 1992 I was blessed with Jazmyn Milan and in 1996 with Blake Ashley, they have kept me on the path. Don’t know what I’d do without you guyz. I also like to send love and blessings to all my other brothers and sisters (tell you later), family and friends. A special thank you to my Godmother who always had faith in me (1 door closes...…) let’s see where this leads.

Martistic was created in 1983 and pretty much typifies my style, basically 2 things, helping people and having fun. I feel that’s what life should be about. So I hope to be able to help with whatever artistic solutions you need and insist we have fun with it. Enjoy the website and if there is a way I can help, please don’t hesitate to contact me personally. As you look through the site you’'ll notice a smiley face, that’s Marti. Marti means fun and FUN is what Martistic is all about !
